A word from China although I had sort of promised not to use DA for this; since wordpress works poorly from home and I feel the urge to write something :3
The past 3 weeks has gone by with incredible speed. I have been to Vietnam and the north part of Yunnan (Dali and Lijiang), both places enjoyable in their own right. Pondering on what I have experienced on these places I am a bit sad to realize most of the action could have been taken on by my own, as well as that most of the 'filling' would have been extraordinary boring without my classmates around me. Puts me in a warring state. Maybe I have set up to many goals for this course, I can be too narrow and focused on my path sometimes (which I see as a positive thing in some tasks like when making costumes) but I would not like to get home after almost a year here and feel I got nowhere. There is of course the possebility to ride the wawe of whatever comes and just roll. All of you back home-go to cinema and see some awesome movies for me!

You too!
I enjoy so many fantastic things here, just got a stroke of home sickness haha. The year out I'll probably stay in the city here, but we'll have lots of christmas preparations, since its a big thing to share and show to the Chinese. I actually feel like baking gingerbread now...noooooooas it's too early! Not until december!!

 Home sickness is never fun, but good to hear you're having a good time :meow:

Oh nice! Must be really interessting to spend Christmas another place where it's basically the same thing, yet very different because of the culture :meow:
Haha me too! It was decided yesterday that we will spend christmas here this year which means for once our mum won't go nuts about having to bake and decorate everything :D

oh, spend christmas where? in DK? I like christmas at home and in general, but it is often exploited in so many ways that I at least choose to be strict about it myself and only start the mood in december. But I do look forward. At least this year I don't have to be nervous about there be snow or not...it never snows in Kunming :/

Yes. I'm going to spend christmas in another country for the frist time ever XD
I did plan to not touch anything remotely christmasy until december, but since we're spending christmas here this year I need to go out soon and start buying decorations and such XD

Awh that's a shame! D: Even though we had plenty of snow last year, no snow at all is kinda sad.

yeah, it's a bit sad, I actually loved last winter even though it was long and cold. Better to have it done properly if at all. If you're at the islands, I hope you'll enjoy it a lot. It seems to be such an fairytale like country. I'd loved to do decorations and baking with you, maybe someday :)
